The options are endless, from choosing your own route and playground to following one or more of our suggested rides, we can make the perfect match for your perfect run in the sun!!

Are you looking for something a little more? Adding additional adventures to your Slingshot ride is easy to do! With Slingshots Plus, we can suggest multiple adventures and multiple day options to take out the Slingshot, including our new jaunt up the scenic Hwy 77 to Canyon Lake to join one of the Steamboat cruises or even overnight in Apache Junction to enjoy dinner out in historic Tortilla Flats!

Below we have a number of suggested rides and estimated durations. These are great as individual rides in their own right or can be combined in any shape or form to make the perfect full or multi day adventure. Alternatively pick your own route and destination and just cruise and bask in the freedom of the open road.

The classic Sunday drive is back but now it can be on any day but not in any day type of vehicle. Take a ride through some of Southern Arizona’s most spectacular and historic countryside and relive the wild west in your own open-air carriage.

This adventure will take the full day but its exact itinerary can be tweaked to suit your taste. This run is a combination of stunning mountain scenery, high desert plains, and rolling foothills coupled with some of Southern Arizona’s most colorful history. It takes you past the Dragoon Mountains into Tombstone and then beyond to Bisbee and Lowell. From there you will swing back through Fort Huachuca and the Las Cienegas with possible stop-offs to sample the delights of Elgin and Sonoita before returning to Tucson.

This route takes you through Downtown Tucson and out to the North West Side where you will find Tucson Mountain Park and the Saguaro National Park West. There are a number of loops that you can use to explore the area and take in the amazing views across the Saguaro Cactus fields and Mountain Ranges, and, if you time it right, experience its famous sunsets.

You don’t need to have the ocean to have the perfect sunset cruise. Tucson with its surrounding mountains and high sunshine days is famous for its sunsets from a couple of great locations. You can cruise up the Mount Lemmon Highway or over Grants Pass and take in some of the best sunsets you will get and with Tucson’s high sunshine rate it’s even safe to book a few days in advance. Then round the evening off with the perfect dinner for 2 at one of Tucson’s numerous great eateries. For Mount Lemmon, we can highly recommend Saguaro Corners or the Restaurant at Tanque Verde Guest Ranch.

One of Tucson’s best-loved scenic destinations is Mount Lemmon and the Mount Lemmon Highway. This spectacular road winds up from the Catalina Foothills all the way to Summer Haven which is nestled close to the peak of Mount Lemmon and provides the perfect pit stop. The route passes through all the different altitude stages of the Arizona High Desert till you reach the Alpine coolness at its peak. Along the way are a number of viewpoints and pull-outs that offer stunning views over Tucson and the mountains beyond whilst the drive itself twists and turns in the perfect imitation of the Swiss Alps.

If time allows you should take in the unique Cactus Forrest Drive through the Saguaro National Park East which is conveniently located just a few miles from the base of Mount Lemmon and the start of the Mount Lemmon Highway.

Rides require additional $35 insurance, and a refundable deposit of $800 per vehicle. Vehicles come with a full, tank of gas and renter is responsible for refilling the tank with 91 premium octane gas when returning vehicles.
